Job Title : Sr.Consultant

Roles And Responsibilities Of QA :

The role of quality assurance (QA) in testing may appear obvious. But during the testing phase, QA performs more than just testing. A tester’s time is mostly spent on specific tasks, such as writing test cases and bug reports. Of course, QA will (or should) test the app or website thoroughly. But other activities consist of:

Test planning – Which involves activities of defining the objectives of testing and the approach for meeting test objectives.

Test Strategy – Create a test strategy based on project requirements and schedules.

  • Early testing to eliminate defects at an early stage reduces the bug fixing cost and time.
  • Executing tests with appropriate techniques (manually or by using test execution tools) and documenting testing failures.
  • Analyse the Defects and identify the root cause.
  • Troubleshoot defects, such that it does not affect the product quality.
  • Report defects to software developers by recording software defects with a bug-tracking system. (e.g Bugzilla, mantis, QA Touch, etc.)
  • Inform the test progress against a schedule of the quality management.
  • Interact with BA, project manager, development team, and client as per need.
  • Conduct different test procedures, report issues, and follow up on the status of the issues.
  • Collaborate with the software testing team to assess or diagnose problems and suggest possible solutions.
  • Monitor and analyse the performance using tools for efficient and problem-free operations.
  • Uncover vulnerabilities in the system and determine that its data and resources are protected from intruders.
  • Provides a test summary report that reflects the software under the test’s top-notch quality.
  • Manage the entire testing activity with different test management tools. (eg. QA Touch)
  • SDET should able to perform Test Automation and setting up frameworks on multiple application platforms like Web, Mobile, and Desktop.
  • Investigate customer problems referred by the technical support team.
  • Create & manage bug reports and communicate with the team.
  • Able to build different test scenarios and acceptance tests.
  • SDET needs to handle technical communications with Partners to understand client’s systems or APIs.
  • SDET also work with deployments teams and resolving any level issues for the system.
  • SDET should also able to set up, maintain, and operate test automation frameworks.
  • Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Financials (focus on FICO
  • Controlling – Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, Product Costing,
  • Profitability Analysis, Project System, Results Analysis, Unsettled Costs, Month End
  • Close, Overhead assessment and settlement.)
  • Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide
  • appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer

Job Title       : Oracle DBA consultant
Experience  : 7 – 9 years 

Roles And Responsibilities Of QA :

  • Installation of Oracle on Linux /IBM-AIX / Sun Solaris / Windows & HP-UX.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure in general including Operating System, Clustering, Storage, network etc
  • Good knowledge of Oracle RAC Database Oracle Data guard, Exadata,
  • Partitioning Compression, RMAN, ASMM and AMM.
  • Disaster Recovery planning & Implementation Oracle Data guard.
  • Knowledge and experience in Oracle Golden gate and basic understanding of VCS is desirable.
  • Able to resolve performance issues faced in the Database and related application as required.
  • Should have excellent knowledge of tools like AWR, ADDM, OEM, SQL Plan baselining, Trace files, tk prof and auto trace.
  • SQLT ASH, expdp / Impdp transportable tablespace .SQL loader SQL Plus.
  • Upgradations, applying new patches.
  • Experience in handling multiple databases medium to large databases (multi terabyte). •Plans and implements backup and recovery of the Oracle database.
  • Excellent knowledge of Oracle backup and recovery scenarios.
  • Repair corrupts databases (logical exports and imports, restore from backups).
  • Developed backup & restore strategies for Hot & offline backups.
  • Provide Architecture design and support for development projects from a database perspective •Hand on experience of PL/SQL coding.
  • Should have knowledge of Linux / Unix shell scripting, python etc.
  • Coordinate the implementation of process controls in the team.
  • Basic understanding of Change management process and raise the change orders on need basis.

  • A minimum of 8+ years’ experience as Oracle DBA. Should have worked with Oracle RDBMS 12c/19c or higher. Certifications in Oracle DBA/ others will be an added advantage.
  • Experience on working on Postgres, MongoDB, SQL server, will be an additional advantage.
  • Open-minded, reliable and independent, Enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent time management skills and strong initiative
  • Able to work independently and effectively under pressure under emergency situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and able to work with other team members as team.
  • Should have experience of working on production issues related to Oracle Database including tuning of complex SQL queries.
  • Knowledge of Devops tools like Jenkins etc., Unix shell scripting, Python will be additional advantage.

Experience  : 12 – 18 years 

Role:

•   Assess automation opportunity from technical perspective and provide solution
•    Anticipate, identify, track, and resolve technical issues and risks affecting delivery
•    Perform detailed estimations towards the finalized in-scope processes planned under development sprints
•    Support pre-sales activities and provide technical solutions, effort estimation, and delivery strategy
